| This is The Renunciance, an Oviate from Clive Barker's Imajica. It was one of many illustrations I did for this project. It is one of my favourites because it's just so damned nasty looking. I wanted to capture the horror of the creature but at the same time reference a great Outer Limits episode, The Zanti Misfits (in the shape of the face, in case you are trying figure that one out!) This image was rendered in ink and then tinted with watercolour. |
