| I used this image as an opportunity to break away from notions of a continual picture plane and fracture the image. I have used this technique for many illustrations as it can reflect the psychological aspects of the story. The fish image was an element borrowed from my personal work, demonstrating the way one aspect of an artist's work can inform another. This was one of my favourite images from this book. |
